My Most Memorable Day #Together

Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever.
As described in my earlier post my relationship with my grandmother is not a usual one.

Having a single dad I was bound to lack motherly feelings, but my granny never let that happen.

I consider my granny as my mother itself.

It was some years back, she started feeling a little sick. Had constant fever. Gradual rise and fall in temperatures.

Didn’t gave a much thought and got an appointment to a doctor who practiced just nearby.

He gave her the regular medicines and we returned back home.

But her health didn’t change.

I clearly remember an incident which happened.

My granny was in the bathroom brushing her teeth I was in the room next to it.

The door of the bathroom was a bit open.

I saw her getting all dizzy.

I ran to hold her, as soon as I held her she fainted in my hands.

I was just 15 at that time. I screamed for my brother to call the doctor immediately.

We got her admitted in the hospital where the doctor took some tests.

The results showed positive for dengue.

And the doctor right in front of me told my dad that the WBC count is lower than 7000 (for which I googled a normal person has WBC count in millions).

The doctor said that things are not in his hands completely.

His words were “chances of survival are too low”.

Listening to him saying these , I was devastated.

I got into instant tears.

All the memories started to flash right in front of my eyes.

The ward boy standing next to me said “Yeh rone ka waqt nhi hai beta, jaake blood bank main B-ve ka inquiry karo”
(translation – its not the time to cry ,go and inqure for a B-ve type of blodd in a blodd bank”

So my brother started visiting blood banks at 8 pm.

And I was trying to find a donor amongst my friend and family.

It was God’s blessing or mere luck don’t know but a person in his twenties called me saying he was a
B negative type of blood group and he got my number from one of my school friend.

Gasping in tears I told him to come at the hospital as soon as possible.

He reached within 10 minutes a later got to know that he was already on his way when he called.

The doctor did his job by transfusing the new WBCs form the donor to my grandmother, now all we could do is pray.

Didn’t sleep at night was just waiting for doctors report.

Next morning the doctor rushed in early and hugged me tight saying “there is nothing to worry, she will recover her health in few days till then she needs rest and good diet”.

I was so relived at that moment of time. And happy tears started rolling all over my face.

She is now fit and fine.

I really needed to #StartANewLife

You don't get to see life changing moments very often but...

Getting over your ex is not so easy especially for an extremely emotional guy like me.

As mentioned in my earlier posts. I had this girl in my life. We dated for more than two and a half years.

Things were going smooth.

But as we say too much happiness brings a lot of sorrow, my family didn’t approve of her sounder extreme pressure I had to break up with her.

At this point I know I look like the douche bag here.

But I thought that we would be really god friends as we had a really good understanding between us.

Now eight months have passed and it is finally her birthday.

She invites one of my closest friends but not me. I understand she must have done it to avoid the awkwardness.

However I wish her “happy birthday”.

And the reply I get is a “ty”.

Not even a complete “thank you”, just a tiny little “ty”.

Here is the thing. When we were dating she had told me once “people I don’t care about or are just acquaintance, I reply them in the shortest way possible”.

So all I did was ask her “Don’t you have even slightest soft corner in your heart for me?"

And I get this huge message with all the hidden grudges and a lot more of attitude.

All these months I was under the impression that we are friends and don’t have no grudges about each other.

I was very calm and was trying to find a slightest bit of compassion left for me inside her.

Our conversation went on for hours. It reached to a point where she almost said it.
Those three golden word that no one wants to go through “I hate you”

And I was still wondering what did I do so ugly to take this from her.

And when she finally said “I don’t care, you don’t even exist in my life anymore”, that was it.

I was devastated at this point.

A girl who once said she won’t quit supporting me what so ever happens doesn’t have a slightest amount of love left for me?

It was a turning point in my life.

Finally understood and learnt my lesson .

Never ever expect much from anyone.

I felt like I finally got some closure.

I never had no hatred in my heart for her and will never have, I just can’t. But for sure this conversation has helped me to move on in life and start a new life .

The people I Look up to!

The word optimism recalls me of a rhythmic story. A story of this girl molly

Molly was a happy monkey almost every day.
She had a happy attitude. She had a pleasant way.
She didn't let the little things in life make her upset,
And things that got her down, she found quite easy to forget.

But one day her luck changed, and it seemed everything went wrong.
She tried to keep her smile, but she just wasn't quite that strong.
She thought things would get better, but they kept on getting worse.
It seemed the life she knew had just been thrown into reverse.

Her favorite friend at school was gone. She had to move away.
And making matters worse, she lost her bracelet that same day.
Molly forgot her homework, and she couldn't turn it in.
Then after school, she missed the bus. It seemed she couldn't win.

As Molly walked home from her school, she couldn't help but cry.
So much was going wrong and she could not understand why.
The next day was a bad day too, and Molly missed her friend.
She wondered if her awful luck was ever going to end.

She tripped and ripped her skirt in front of everyone at school.
The kids all laughed and pointed, making her feel like a fool.
She got a drop of ketchup from her burger on her shirt.
And at the water fountain she got soaked with a big squirt!

So many bad things happened, Molly almost cried once more,
but something odd occurred to her that she could not ignore.
The bad things that were happening weren't really all that bad.
They just seemed so much worse because she let herself feel sad.

When she saw just the bad things, life made her feel very blue.
It wasn't just her luck that changed, her attitude changed too.
An optimistic attitude can make a better day,
so Molly changed her outlook and her sadness went away.

She laughed at all that happened and her smile came right back.
And things seemed pretty good again. Her life was back on track.
Her happiness brought her new friends who loved her pleasant cheer.
She learned to laugh when things went wrong. That gave her less to fear.

She let go of the little things, just as she used to do.
And even when things went wrong, she was happy through and through.
Her life was much more pleasant, but it wasn't life that changed.
It only was her attitude, that Molly rearranged.
She saw the good in life and found that life was to enjoy.
A little optimism brings the world a lot of joy.

So as the moral says, never to lose hope.
I personally think you haven't lost your battle unless you yourself accept your defeat.
And accepting defeat is losing every last inch of hope to succeed.
I dont know whether i am politically correct or not but according to me in this world the biggest example of an optimistic person is Adolf Hitler.

As we all know after the First World War Germany was at its back at the wall in every aspect of their society.

Leading such a country (though I DONT like his approach) needs next level of admiration and determination to work hard for your country.
Determination rises only with a rise in HOPE!

You can never learn anything from a success story, if you want to learn something listen to their failure stories.

Another great example of an optimistic person is Thomas Edison.
Thomas Edison failed for more than a thousand times after which he finally found the correct element for the bulb.

"I have not failed. I've just found 1000 ways that won't work."
Thomas A. Edison

Trying for thousand times needs sheer love and true determination for your work.

And who can forget our father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi.

Great people have reached to their heights by their determination and hard work.
And the key factor to add to their strength to keep them going was OPTIMISM.
